Town Mill Bakery
A perfect example of how online video can really work to promote your company. Town Mill Bakery are teaming up with Riverford Organic Veg to delivery their hand made artisan bread fresh daily into the Riverford Organic Veg boxes. I filmed their head bakery Aidan Chapman giving a demonstration to the Riverford franchisees on how to make artisan bread and they all got stuck in making and baking their own artisan bread. Dorchester Ghost Story
We have gone into production for the Dorchester Ghost Story video/audio tours. We spent the night of the 20th April shooting at night in various locations in and around Dorchester, including the county jail, Hangman's Cottage and John's Pond. The production has now moved into the post-production stage and for regular updates of the progress visit thatgroupcalledloop.

Mim Grey
I have teamed up again with Yoho Media and Wonderworks to produce another piece for a peppers ghost projection. This time it is country/folk/jazz singer Mim Grey We filmed her delivering two of her tracks Sunday Best and Purple Best from her new album 'GREY MATTERS'.

We shot it on the RED Camera again and then I delivered the post-production which included transferring the 4k RED camera footage into FCP then grading in Color for output to targa files. So the boys at Wonderworks can then create their magic to produce the peppers ghost illusion.

Charles Darwin - Pepper's Ghost
To run along side the three films in the exhibition English Heritage also commissioned us to create a Pepper's Ghost of a young Charles Darwin in a life-size reconstruction of his cabin aboard the Beagle. As a young and keen naturalist, Darwin was invited to join the survey ship HMS Beagle at the end of 1831 for a voyage around the world.
We essentially created film of an actor that is then projected on to an invisible glass screen, such that he appears to be sitting on the far side of the chart table taking a pinch of snuff from a box.

Now and Then: Darwin's legacy in 3 minutes
We were commissioned by English Heritage to create three films for Down House the home of Charles Darwin museum.
Each film explores the work and passions of three men taking forward Darwin's legacy in the 21st century. A pigeon breeder describes the fascinating art of breeding unusual birds; a research scientist explains how to classify a new species; an ecologist makes a map of life itself... all inspired by Charles Darwin. The three films will sit within a new permanent exhibition marking the bicentenary of his birth.

B+B Weymouth
B+B Weymouth are a new 4 star bed and breakfast that has recently opened its doors on the esplanade in Weymouth. We have created a stunning short film that has pride and place on the B+B Weymouth home page of their website.

Phil and Andy convinced me that the most effective way to convert idle enquiries to bookings on your own website is via a short promotional film. They were right! Prospective guests want to see exactly what they are getting for their money. Phil and Andy were great fun to work with; professional, creative, and enthusiastic; they had a good understanding of how to capture the very essence and style and ambience of our B+B on film. I am really pleased with the result and have no hesitation in recommending Phil Gadd and Andy Whale and I would encourage every hotelier to consider this enhancement on their website.

Stephanie Pettit Equation Accounting.
We have produced a dynamic short film for Stephanie Pettit's website. Stephanie runs a company called Equation, which offers a fresh approach to bookkeeping and accounting.

The best bits for me from the whole experience for me were...
Driving through the country lanes to get to the studio; its a great location and a nice drive.
Sitting on the sofa and relaxing a bit with a coffee before we got started.
Laughing with you and Andy and between takes about various things, it helped me relax a bit.
Seeing the faces of my business friends when I showed them the final cut - they said it was really good and I could tell by their faces, they meant it.

Steve Graham
We produced for Steve some inspiring promotional films for his website, where he described the process of public speaking and how it can work for your business.

I work in a business where the way people are perceived really matters. I wanted to get my message across to businesses in a way that showed exactly what my company and I represent; to give my potential customers confidence and to reinforce my own commitment to excellence in communication. Using creative media was an obvious choice but knew very little about how to start. When I discovered Phil Gadd I knew that my problem had been solved. Phil's professionalism and experience made the whole process easy to follow and execute. He has given me a product as well as a means to promote my business. I would thoroughly recommend Phil Gadd to any business wanting the same.
